CRM (Saleforce) and IT Systems Officer

Salary: £28,000.00 to £33,000.00 /year

To maintain and develop the company’s CRM platform on Salesforce ensuring all staff are competent & empowered to use and maintain it effectively. To maintain the company’s IT systems and hardware, including cloud based office 365, PDA deployment and support in the field and Evergiving.

The company:

Wildlife Fundraising (Central) Limited is a not for profit company, wholly owned by a partnership of 6 Wildlife Trusts. The company was formed in 2013 to provide face-to-face (F2F) membership recruitment services for the members of the company.

The role:

  • Responsible for CRM systems upgrades, backups and maintenance
  • Provide IT support to internal team with office 365, use of tablets in the field, Salesforce CRM and Evergiving
  • To effectively triage, route and resolve where possible IT service requests and incidents
  • Responsible for GDPR compliance and maintenance of all systems
  • Responsible for all matters pertaining to IT security, security of systems, breaches and reporting accordingly
  • Maintain accurate Asset Management records to ensure that assets are tracked from purchase to retirement
  • Provide support and set up for use of PDAs in the field
  • Optimise the use of the Salesforce CRM system by all WFC staff
  • Develop training plans for specific roles and deliver training sessions
  • Ensure high levels of data integrity through regular data quality checking
  • Ensure effective and accurate data transfer between systems through efficient data manipulation and integrity checking


  • £28 – 33k FTE, depending on skills and experience
  • Home based, with travel to our office at near Bicester, Oxfordshire a few days per month when required (on-site parking)

Essential Skills:

  • Extensive experience in administering, managing and maintaining CRM systems – preferably Salesforce
  • Ability to train others and develop strategies
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills – particularly excel & data manipulation
  • Excellent attention to detail and well organised
  • Proven ability to communicate with a variety of audiences both internal and external
  • Excellent administration and process skills with efficient working practices and good attention to detail
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Experience of IT systems and maintenance
  • Ability to problem solve and find solutions to process and database issues

Desirable skills:

  • Experience of financial processes and systems
  • Experience of working effectively as part of a team with excellent communication skills both verbal and written
