Venues and Events

Our Membership Recruiters work in a variety of private site venues from local garden centres, vegan and farmers markets, county fairs and shows, to bigger national events such as Crufts and BBC Gardeners World Live at Birmingham NEC.

Face to face fundraising provides the human connection that other methods lack, by speaking to people every day on the ground we can reach all areas of the local community. We are delighted to be working across the country to raise vital funds for The Wildlife Trusts, to support their aim of a wilder future.

How we work

Our team of Venue Co-ordinators pre-book all venues and events and carefully organise a schedule within the team of local Membership Recruiters. On arrival at an agreed time at the venue or event, our Membership Recruiters set up their stands with an attractive display, and politely engage with the public about the local Wildlife Trust.

We offer memberships via a paper Direct Debit mandate form or secure electronic tablet device, and take no cash collections. By signing up to a monthly Direct Debit amount of their choosing, the member provides regular support which enables the Wildlife Trusts to predict income and plan their projects over the following years. This vital support is one of the biggest sources of income for our Wildlife Trust charities.
